Upon exiting Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, you’ll be greeted by a welcome sign. Your Vietnam By Bike guide will assist you with your transfer to your hotel in the city center, where you will have some free time to relax before enjoying a welcome dinner.

In the morning, you'll be transferred to the port to embark on the luxurious Aspira Cruise. Upon check-in, you’ll be welcomed with a refreshing drink and a cold or warm towel. A cruise briefing will follow, providing essential safety instructions before you settle into your cabin.
Lunch will be served at the exquisite onboard restaurant, followed by an exploration of the stunning Lan Ha Bay. Visit the famous Bright Cave and Dark Cave, with opportunities for kayaking or bamboo boat paddling led by local experts.
Back on the Aspira Cruise, you can choose to take a refreshing swim or enjoy a relaxing session in the jacuzzi. Arriving in Hue City around 8:30 AM, you will be greeted at the train station and transferred to your hotel for a buffet breakfast before fitting your bicycle for today’s cycling adventure. Once the capital of Vietnam and a source of inspiration for poets and artists for centuries, Hue is still a vibrant and significant city.
This morning, we’ll head to the impressive Old Citadel, which continues to dominate the left bank of the river. After our visit to the citadel, we will begin our final cycling ride. Our route follows the Perfume River and leads us to the 19th-century Nguyen Tomb of Ming Mang. Along the way, we will cycle past Vong Canh Hill, Nam Giao Esplanade, and a bronze-making village. Our total cycling distance today is approximately 35 kilometers. Overnight in Hue City!
Enjoy a short transfer to the coastal roads to begin your cycling journey off the beaten track. Pedal along a picturesque lane shaded by coconut palms, running alongside the peninsula from Thuan An Beach to Phuoc Tuong Pass. This route allows you to pause and explore some of the hundreds of ancestral tombs scattered across the sandy dunes.
After lunch at Lang Co Beach, prepare for one of the day's biggest challenges: a 12-kilometer ascent to the peak of Hai Van Pass. This pass provides a true test of endurance! Following the descent, we will cycle 12 kilometers down to Da Nang City before transferring to Hoi An. Overnight at a 4-star resort in Hoi An Ancient Town!
In the morning, enjoy a walking tour of Ancient Hoi An, exploring this enchanting port town. Stroll through narrow lanes lined with centuries-old houses influenced by Chinese, Japanese, French, and European architecture, and visit various attractions, including the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, the Phuc Kien Assembly Halls, and the local fish market. You’ll find many art galleries and tailor shops in the area, offering opportunities to have custom-made clothes created if you wish.
In the afternoon, cycle to Tra Que Village and join local farmers in their farming activities, including sowing, watering, and picking vegetables. Next, embark on a Hoi An boat tour along the Thu Bon River. As you cruise, enjoy the stunning sunset and watch local fishing boats bobbing in the water, creating a serene atmosphere.
Today, we’ll start our cycling journey from the resort in Hoi An Ancient Town, taking the back streets past lively fishing villages to the Thu Bon River. Cross the river via a steel bridge and visit a local market where fresh fish is brought straight from the East Sea. This is a great opportunity to witness the authentic daily life of locals who have been living in the area for generations.
We’ll continue cycling along country roads through various villages and small towns. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant near Tam Thanh Beach before a two-hour drive to Tam Quan. Once there, we’ll cycle on quiet back roads through villages dotted with palm trees, continuing along the coastline of the sandy dune peninsula, offering spectacular views of the bay and mountains. Enjoy a day filled with coastal scenery as we navigate along well-maintained roads, waving to friendly villagers who cheer us on. Overnight in Quy Nhon City in the early evening!
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and prepare for your transfer to the southern coast in Quy Nhon. Today’s cycling will take you from a small village along the waterfront, where you will cross a narrow wooden bridge and enjoy ocean views while observing colorful circular bamboo boats at fishing villages. Continue cycling through rustic farms and picturesque small towns across lush farmland along undulating back roads to Da Dia Reefs. This seashore area is approximately 100 meters wide and 250 meters long, featuring an estimated 35,000 columns of basalt rocks, which take various shapes, including round, pentagonal, hexagonal, and polygonal forms. Take a moment to explore the area, enjoy a short break, and capture some photos.
Following the planned route, we will cycle along narrow pathways adjacent to local beaches and pass little markets before reaching a lively lagoon. Here, you will have another opportunity to admire hundreds of floating fish farms. The ride continues as we cross rivers and explore idyllic villages along undulating paths, passing colorful ancient temples and pagodas. You'll experience beautiful landscapes, including sweet potato fields, tapioca fields, and rice paddies, before arriving at Tuy Hoa. After a brief stop, we will drive to Nha Trang, reaching there within 2 hours. Overnight at a 4-star beachfront hotel in Nha Trang.
Nha Trang is renowned for its beautiful bays, golden beaches, and turquoise waters, making it a bustling town and popular tourist destination. Weather permitting, this morning we will take a cruise to explore the surrounding seas and islands. We aim to stop at one of the islands where you can swim from the boat (snorkeling equipment can be rented). We will then move on to a smaller island, where you can spend a few hours relaxing and swimming. This privately owned island offers rentals for sun loungers and parasols, and you’ll have the option to enjoy drinks and a seafood lunch or snacks at your own expense. We will return to Nha Trang later this afternoon, and the rest of the day is free for you to enjoy at your leisure.
Prepare for a thrilling challenge as we head to the Hon Giao Pass after a one-hour transfer to Western Nha Trang. Get ready to cycle uphill for approximately 33 kilometers before experiencing a scenic descent along the pipe tree lane from an altitude of 1,960 meters down to the valleys of Da Lat, which is at 1,500 meters. Overnight at a 4-star hotel in Da Lat!
Welcome to Cat Tien, a charming village known for its cool weather and vibrant flowers, making it a popular destination for travelers and cyclists. Enjoy stunning views along the Perfume Lake in the Bao Loc plateau, a favorite spot for cyclists wanting to ride through picturesque landscapes filled with flowers and cricket farms. Experience the beauty of the Elephant Waterfalls, along with a typical coffee break surrounded by the local ethnic culture. Your biking distance today will be approximately 45 km before we head towards Saigon, where you will overnight at a 4-star hotel.
This morning, we will drive about 1.5 hours away from the bustling traffic of Saigon to the quieter suburbs. We’ll collect our bikes near a former US military base (the 25th Infantry Division) and start our ride, cycling approximately 30 km to Ben Dinh, the site of the infamous Cu Chi Tunnels. Initially constructed during the French occupation, these tunnels achieved notoriety during the Vietnam War, serving as an underground command base for 10,000 Viet Cong troops.
We will have lunch along the banks of the Saigon River before exploring the tunnels with a local guide. Please note that the tunnels are low and narrow, so it may feel claustrophobic. Afterward, we will drive back to Saigon, arriving in the early evening!
